NEU-ISENBURG, Germany—South Korea's Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. will continue its support as the main sponsor of the “Tune It! Safe!” campaign, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Hankook said it has been sponsoring the program since its inception and is an initiator alongside the Federal Department of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the VDAT (German Association of Automotive Tuners).
For the first time, the vehicle used for the jubilee edition of the campaign is a tuned vehicle from the SUV segment—a BMW X4 2.0i xDrive by AC Schnitzer, Hankook said.
The campaign vehicle, which is traditionally unveiled on the press day of the Essen Motor Show, demonstrates that even tuned SUVs and SAVs can serve as good examples for passionate and, above all, legal automotive tuning. The vehicle s running on Hankook's Ventus S1 evo tires, size 265/30 R22.
