PRINCETON, Ind.—Mid-States Rubber Products Inc. received a 2014 Suppler Quality Excellence Award from General Motors Co. in recognition for its quality performance at its Princeton manufacturing facility.
Mid-States said the award is presented to 17 percent of GM's 2,300 suppliers in the U.S. and Canada. The award is given based on achieving high levels of quality in 13 defined performance criteria.
“For more than 60 years, Mid-States has been devoted to providing customers with high quality custom product solutions to meet their specific needs,” Mid-States President Philip G. Eykamp said in a statement. “It is an honor for our dedication to quality to be recognized by General Motors.”
Mid-States was founded in 1944 and produces molded and extruded rubber and plastic products to customers around the world through a wide range of processes, including compression, injection and transfer molding and cold feed extrusion.
