CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—CDM Smith has completed its acquisition of Wadsworth, Ohio-based Louis Perry Group earlier this month.
LPG is an engineering/architectural/design-build firm that specializes in process, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and controls engineering to service power, industrial, rubber, plastics, chemical and commercial clients.
“CDM Smith and LPG share a deep commitment to client service and technical excellence,” said Steve Hickox, CDM Smith chairman and CEO. “Together, the firms can offer expanded services to industrial clients across the U.S.”
LPG will remain an independent subsidiary and serve as an industrial design center for CDM Smith's industrial sector.
“CDM Smith embraces the core values that LPG was built on and will continue to provide excellent service to our clients,” said Louis Perry, founder and president of LPG.
The acquisition enhances CDM Smith's industrial capabilities and enables the firm to bolster key markets, including oil and gas, chemicals, food and beverage, mining and power.
The firms have begun to integrate the two organizations.
CDM Smith is a consulting, engineering, construction, and operations firm that provides integrated solutions in water, environment, transportation, energy and facilities to public and private clients.
