NASHVILLE, Tenn.—TreadWright L.L.C. and TreadWright Tires L.L.C. of Houston have agreed to stop selling two lines of retreaded light truck tires as part of a settlement reached with Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations L.L.C.
Bridgestone filed a lawsuit on April 17 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, alleging TreadWright and TreadWright Tires infringed on the licensed patented tire tread pattern used for the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tire.
The tire maker sought damages and a permanent injunction against TreadWright.
In a news release, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations said it is committed to protecting its intellectual property and will take court action to dispute any unauthorized use or infringement of its patents, trademarks and other intellectual property.
