WASHINGTON—The Commerce Department's International Trade Administration has extended until Nov. 14 the deadline for applying for membership in the ITA's Manufacturing Council.
The ITA issued a Federal Register notice Sept. 10, seeking applications for positions on the council. At that time, the agency said it sought up to 30 new council members, and set a deadline of Oct. 14. An Oct. 27 Federal Register notice extends the application period until Nov. 14.
The Manufacturing Council advises the Secretary of Commerce on matters relating to the U.S. manufacturing industry, including government policies and programs that affect manufacturing, the Oct. 27 notice said.
