HOWELL, Mich—Chem-Trend L.P. has been named one of Michigan's top 100 workplaces, according to results from an employee satisfaction survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics.
The Howell-based company placed sixth in the midsize business category, which includes 35 honorees. Workers generally cite pay and benefits, training and advancement opportunities, culture, leadership, flexibility and good corporate citizenship as reasons for their vote.
“Once again, this high ranking is a direct testimony to the pride and passion displayed by our most valuable resource, our employees,” said Devanir Moraes, Chem-Trend president and CEO. “This shows that Chem-Trend employees continue to live and breathe our values and guiding principles.”
Moraes said Chem-Trend's positive culture and commitment to excellence fosters an environment focused on business integrity, continuous improvement, quality and innovation, benefiting internal and external stakeholders.
Chem-Trend is the only chemical company named to the Top Workplaces list. Workplace Dynamics began partnering with media companies nationally in 2006 on the annual survey.
Chem-Trend, which develops and produces high-performance release agents and casting lubricants, was selected as a Detroit Free Press Top Workplace for the third consecutive year.
