WASHINGTON—TBC Corp. is recalling 388 Wild County Radial XTX Sport tires, size 265/65R18, because of possible cracking or broken ply cords in the lower sidewall on the white sidewall side.
The tires were manufactured by Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. between June 1 and June 28, 2004, TBC told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
TBC said it will replace all the tires free of charge, but hasn't yet set up a notification schedule, according to NHTSA. Owners may call TBC's customer service line at 800-739-7698, and refer to recall 159.
