MILWAUKEE, Wis.—Two associations plan to hold a Joint Industry Summit in the fall of 2017.
NIBA—The Belting Association—and the Power Transmission Distributors Association said the meeting will offer enhanced benefits that are only possible through a joint conference.
Both organization's board of directors have spent a good deal of time and effort in designing a program that provides an exceptional experience for attendees, association officials said.
Included in the summit will be enriched networking opportunities, enhanced educational content, and minimized conflicts and reduced multiple meeting attendance costs for shared members, the officials said.
“We set out to create an event that is truly a joint event—that is, maximizing the opportunities for members of both associations to meet and discuss their businesses,” according to PTDA President Ken Miko, director of Category Management and Strategic Accounts for Cleveland-based Bearing Distributors Inc.
