RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif—Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. has promoted executives Armand Allaire and Tom McNamara to executive vice presidents and hired veteran commercial tire marketer Patrick Gunn as director of sales and marketing, commercial tires.
Allaire, who joined Giti last December as vice president of marketing, has been promoted to executive vice president of sales and marketing, succeeding McNamara, who becomes executive vice president of business development.
The firm said the changes are being made to capitalize on its rapid growth and to take full advantage of its expansion plans in North America.
Gunn brings more than 15 years' experience at Bridgestone Americas in the sales and marketing of medium/heavy truck tires, as well as off-highway tires and retreading operations.
Allaire moved to Giti last year from Kumho Tire USA L.L.C. In all Allaire has more than 37 years of industry experience.
McNamara has been with Giti since 2007.

Sylvia Soerijadi will continue as chief financial officer; Julianto Djajadi will also continue as executive vice president of business operations.
Giti Tire (USA) is the North American sales, marketing, and distribution company Giti Tire, handling the firm's GT Radial, Primewell, Dextero and Runway tires.
