SOUTHFIELD, Mich.—Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp., has made changes to its senior management team.
Kenneth Burns has been named senior vice president, global supply chain and quality; Gary Desai, vice president and chief information officer; Joe Stephan, vice president, business development; and Michael Shin, vice president, global sourcing.
“The new members of our senior management team have the expertise needed to help Federal-Mogul Motorparts develop and execute our business strategy,” said Daniel Ninivaggi, CEO of Federal-Mogul Motorparts and co-CEO of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp.
“They will be instrumental in building out our distribution network and in improving our inventory and order management systems, as well as supporting new product and brand launches,” he said.
Each has a strong track record in driving performance, he added.
Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Burns was with Rank Group as vice president, business integration, engineering and research and development for FRAM.
He previously was in leadership positions with Honeywell International Inc., Delphi Automotive P.L.C. and General Motors Corp.
Desai was most recently vice president, information technology business transformation, at Honeywell Corp., and was previously with GM.
Stephan has been with Federal-Mogul since 1999.
He previously held several sales and marketing roles, including senior sales and marketing positions with Tenneco for the Monroe and Walker Brands.
Shin was with American Capital Ltd. as vice president and operating principal before joining Federal-Mogul Motorparts. He previously held leadership positions with Stanley Works Co. and General Electric.
