SINGAPORE—Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. joined the International Rubber Study Group's Panel of Associates.
The firm was established in 1941 and operates seven manufacturing facilities in South Korea, China, Hungary and Indonesia—with another planned for the U.S. market—and five research and development centers worldwide.
Hankook employs about 21,000 people globally and markets its products in more than 180 countries. It produces radial tires for passenger cars, 4x4s, SUVs, light trucks, campers, trucks, buses and motorsports.
