NEWARK, Del.—Polymer Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of noise reduction materials, thermal composites and molded foam products, has launched its new Elastomeric Solutions Division.
The Elastomeric Solutions Division will specialize in shock and vibration isolators, molded insulation products, and development of custom elastomeric shock and vibration materials, the company said.
The new division is based on Polymer Technologies' recent purchase of the assets of Engineered Plastics Solutions Group Inc. (EPSG), according to Robert Prybutok, Polymer Technologies founder, president and CEO.
Engineered Plastics Solutions Group specialized in custom shock and vibration solutions, Prybutok said. The acquisition of EPSG's assets allows Polymer Technologies to expand its range of shock and vibration products to existing and prospective customers, he said.
“Our acquisition of the assets of EPSG couldn't have come at a better time,” Prybutok said. “We are having a landmark year, and this new division will help us continue to grow and innovate for our industry.”
According to the company, customers may expect the following from the new division:
• Engineering experts who focus on creating solutions and getting results, not just making products;
• Materials expertise based on Polymer Technologies' database of more than 5,600 unique rubber formulas, as well as its ability to create new formulas based on exact customer requirements and specifications;
• State-of-the-art computer simulation that saves money and time by eliminating the need for producing prototypes; and
• Polymer Technologies' proprietary DuraFlex rubber that offers ultra-high resiliency and fatigue life.
Along with these expanded offerings, customers will continue to receive the same excellent customer service and high-quality products they have always received from Polymer Technologies, the company said.
Polymer Technologies is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the company said.
