HOUSTON—U.S. Zinc has announced the expansion of its relationship with KODA Distribution Group, giving the zinc product manufacturer coast-to-coast coverage in the coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) market.
KODA, the leader in North American specialty chemical distribution, is comprised of 11 distribution companies serving specific markets in the U.S. and Canada. One of KODA's companies, Ribelin, has increased its territory to include the Southeast.
This means that, through KODA, U.S. Zinc now has representation in the CASE market throughout the nation, U.S. Zinc said. Ribelin represents U.S. Zinc in the Southeast and Southwest. Other KODA companies representing U.S. Zinc include EW Kauffmann in the Northeast, GMZ in the Midwest and PT Hutchins on the West Coast, U.S. Zinc and KODA said.
“Our partnership with U.S. Zinc is a success story and reinforces how well the KDG model works,” said Dan Gruber, president of KODA CASE.
Based in Houston, U.S. Zinc manufactures, recycles and supplies zinc oxide, zinc dust, zinc metal and zinc fines worldwide from plants in North America, South America and Asia. It is an affiliate of the Brazilian company Votorantim Metals, one of the five largest zinc producers in the world.
