SEVILLE, Ohio—Blair Rubber Co. broke ground for an expansion at its Seville headquarters and manufacturing facility June 16.
The planned 50,000-sq.-ft. addition will double the size of the current facility, according to Roy Eikelberry, plant superintendent.
“This is truly a special day for our company and the community as we break ground to expand our manufacturing capabilities and accommodate our consistent and steady growth,” said Dave Jentzsch, general manager of the Seville-based firm.
Both the manufacturing and warehousing ends of the operation will gain additional space once the expansion is complete, which is expected in early 2015, company officials said at the groundbreaking ceremony.
