BETHESDA, Md.—Steve Rosenberg, senior vice president at Sika Corp., and Forest Driggs, vice president at Franklin International, will join the Adhesive and Sealant Council's board of directors, effective immediately.
Rosenberg replaces Steve Harms, who retired from Sika Corp. after spending 30 years with the firm. Rosenberg will serve the remainder of Harms' term, which runs through 2014.
Rosenberg joined Sika Corp. in 1991 with his main focus being on research and development. He is senior vice president, risk, quality and sustainability management. He also has worked at Smooth-On Inc. and Minwax Co.
Driggs replaces Larry Owen, senior vice president at Franklin International. He will serve the remainder of his term, through 2016. Owen will continue serving on the ASC's global resources committee. Owen served on the board of directors for more than 16 years, including a stint as its chair.
Driggs joined Franklin International in 1995 with experience in the adhesives and polymers group and construction products group. In 2011, he took over as chief financial officer and is vice president of finance and development.
He has served on the ASC's regulatory affairs committee and has experience with the National Association of Manufacturers and Ohio Manufacturers Association.
“I look forward to collaborating with both Steve and Forest as ASC moves into the execution phase of its newly adopted long range plan,” said ASC President Matthew Croson. “Fresh perspectives are always good for associations.”
