EAST LANSING, Mich.—The Michigan Rubber Group will hold its spring golf outing on May 29 at Michigan State University's Forest Akers West golf course. The course is the home of Michigan State's men's and women's golf teams.
Cost of the scramble is $130 per person for 18 holes and a half cart. The shotgun start will start at 9 a.m., with registration from slated from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. Lunch will be served at the course at 2 p.m., or immediately after the golf. Prizes will be awarded during or immediately after the luncheon.
At least one person from the foursome should be a member of the MRG in good standing. Dues are $15 per year. Membership fees may be included with registration.
The cost is $50 for those who want don't play golf and want to attend lunch, participate in the luncheon activities and receive the door prize.

The MRG is seeking corporate donations to help offset expenses, and any gifts received will be awarded to winners of various holes, special events or raffle prizes. Hole sponsorships are $75 each. The fee includes signage at the tee with corporate logo and a link to the sponsor's website on the home page of the Michigan Rubber Group website.
Proceeds from the outing are used for a variety of purposes, including the funding of scholarships for students from the Ferris State University Rubber Technology Program, and participation by students in the annual Rubber Division ACS International Exhibition.
