NECEDAH, Wis.—Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies GmbH & Co.'s Necedah gasket facility was awarded Ford Motor Co.'s Q1 supplier quality award.
The firm said its dedication to quality, delivery, service and continuous improvement programs on behalf of its customers contributed to its achievement.
The plant produces transmission and engine components for a variety of Ford vehicles, including the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks and the E Series Vans.
“We are extremely proud to be recognized by Ford Motor Co. as a Q1 supplier,” said Daniel Hillebrand, lead center manager, stamped gaskets. “This award reflects the dedication and hard work of the employees in Necedah to concentrate on what customers expect and need and then perform above those expectations every day.”
Freudenberg-NOK said Ford annually gives its Q1 supplier status to facilities that demonstrate commitment to fundamental quality and manufacturing disciplines that ensure success and promote continuous improvement. Suppliers must hit benchmarks in a variety of areas and also implement and support ongoing programs that drive excellence throughout the facility.
Freudenberg-NOK is the Americas joint venture between Freudenberg and Co. in Germany and NOK Corp. in Japan. It produces sealing technologies for a variety of markets, including aerospace, agriculture, appliance, automotive, construction, diesel engine, energy, food and beverage, heavy industry, and pharmaceutical.
The firm is headquartered in Plymouth, Mich., and operates more than 20 facilities across the Americas.
