INDIANAPOLIS—Members of the Association of Rubber Products Manufacturers power transmission belt technical committee discussed changes to a variety of technical publications governed by the International Standards Organization during a meeting held April 7-8 in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
Attending the meeting were representatives from Gates Corp., HBD/Thermoid, Veyance Technologies Inc., Jason Industrial Inc., Carlisle Transportation Products Inc. and ARPM.
The committee is also responsible for the governance of a variety of rubber belt technical publications and is in the final stages of releasing updates to several documents, including IP-27.
ARPM holds the ISO secretariat position on the synchronous belt subcommittee and has representation and voting rights on ISO technical subcommittees covering veebelts and pulleys, synchronous belts and pulleys, and conveyor belts.
ARPM is a trade association managed by rubber business leaders consisting of over 50 members.
