BLOOMER, Wisc.—Bloomer Plastics Inc. has completed a multi-million dollar capacity expansion program designed to address strong demand for its polyolefin based products.
The firm said projects finalized in April include a plant-wide debottlenecking initiative in additional to a plant expansion and installation of a new cast film extrusion line.
Bloomer said combined output improvement from the projects will exceed an incremental 25 percent on an annualized unit volume basis.
“Given the robust demand for our custom engineered film solutions, we are accelerating our capital spending plan,” said Kevin Keneally, president and CEO of Bloomer Holdings Inc. “The two major programs just completed represent historical levels of capital investment in our business and will improve our level of customer satisfaction.”
Bloomer Plastics is a domestic and international engineered films producer for high performance industrial, medical, automotive, agricultural and consumer market segments. The company is privately owned by management and Huron Capital Partners.
