CARLISLE, Pa.—Carlisle Construction Materials said site work on its new 72,000 sq.-ft. line for single-ply thermoplastic polyolefin membranes is nearly 50 percent complete.
Construction is on schedule and set for completion in the fourth quarter, Carlisle said. It will be the fifth line overall.
Once the site work is complete, the firm will install advanced manufacturing equipment to enable the line to produce a variety of sizes and thickness of Carlisle TPO roofing membranes, the firm said.
Carlisle also picked April 28 as the date for the grand opening of its SynTec Systems' polyvinyl chloride line at its Greenville, Ill. The firm said the addition of the PVC line will create additional jobs at the site.
