FAIRLAWN, Ohio—A wide variety of speakers from around the world will be making presentations at the International Silicone Conference, to be held May 20-21 at the Hilton Akron in Fairlawn.
The speakers will cover topics that range from regulatory issues to the laboratory to production.
Kent Furst will be the keynote speaker. Furst is an industry analyst from Freedonia Group who has written more than 40 studies on silicones and related industries since joining the company in 2005. He will provide an overview of the world silicone market, as well as forecast trends for the industry.
The conference features speakers from Austria, France and Germany, as well as from throughout the U.S.
Topics include LSR Innovations for Process and Performance; Advanced Injection Machine Technologies for Silicones; Supramolecular Organization of Silicones; Precise Dosing of 1k/2k Silicones Without the Risk of Contamination by Air and From Mixing to Extrusion; and Curing and Packaging.
