COLUMBUS, Ohio—Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. will increase its global price by about $138-$414 per metric ton for its Axilat vinyl acetate monomer-based dispersion range of products used in adhesives and textile applications.
The firm said the increase is driven by increasing raw material costs and will go into effect April 1, or as contracts allow.
Momentive produces thermoset resins globally, serving the wood and industrial markets through a wide range of technologies, specialty products and technical support. It is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Momentive Performance Materials Holdings L.L.C.
