COLOGNE, Germany—The Keltan elastomers business unit of Lanxess A.G.'s specialty chemicals group will raise prices worldwide by $150 per metric ton for all of its Keltan-brand EPDM grades effective April 1.
The firm did not specify a reason for the price increase.
Its EDPM is used in various automotive components, as well as in plastic modification, wire and cable, construction and oil additives.
The Keltan elastomers business unit is part of Lanxess' performance polymers segment, which recorded sales of about $6.19 billion in 2013.
