WINDSOR, Ontario—Hot runner major Synventive Molding Solutions will open a new service center in the heart of mold making for the automotive industry, the company's major market.
On April 1, Synventive will inaugurate a service center in Windsor, Ontario, capable of in-house machining and mold trials. The operation also will stock parts, and will complement its existing sales and service office in Livonia, Mich.
“The U.S. automotive industry is experiencing steady growth, and as the leading hot runner supplier to that industry, we are increasing our presence in the Windsor area so we can help them continue to succeed,” noted Synventive North America vice president and general manager Steven Gayfer in a March 18 news release.
Synventive's manufacturing plants are in Peabody, Mass.; Suzhou, China, and Bensheim, Germany. It has sales and service representatives in 26 countries.
