WAUCONDA, Ill.—Menges Roller Co. said it will expand its product line by partnering with Delta T Systems, Inc. and Paratherm Corp.
Menges will supply Delta T System chillers and temperature control units, which cool and heat the fluids used in Menges' liquid-filled heat transfer rollers. Menges has signed a similar agreement with Paratherm and will offer the firm's line of thermal transfer fluids to the converting sector.
Menges said these partnerships will support its line of high-performance heat transfer rolls and help it gain better control over the functionality of its products while offering customers solutions for heating and cooling needs.
“Delta T Systems offers an outstanding product line with very high standards,” said Matthew Menges, president of Menges Roller. He said Menges considered several suppliers and was impressed with Delta T Systems' personnel, operations and equipment.
Menges said the firm gets much of its business from customers with heat transfer rollers that are not working properly because they used the wrong type of heat transfer fluid or did not maintain it.
He said Paratherm's products work well with Menges', and they outperform other competitors in the market. “We can now offer customers thermal transfer fluids that exactly match their roller and process specifications.”
Last year, Menges, headquartered in Wauconda, said it was expanding its engineering and thermal modeling department.
