FORT MILL, S.C.—Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C.'s commercial vehicle tire group has reassigned six executives for its commercial specialty, product development and sales regions.
In the commercial unit, which encompasses medium radial truck tires and commercial specialty tires, Fedérico Jimenez will be responsible for managing sales and marketing for Conti's commercial specialty tire business in the Americas. Previously he managed key accounts for ports for commercial specialty tires on a global scale. A native of Spain, Jimenez operates from Continental Tire Americas' headquarters in Fort Mill.

Conti said Terry Smouter has assumed responsibility for managing business development in the truck tire group, covering Continental's advanced technology and e-business solutions. Smouter returns to Fort Mill after several years as marketing manager for the tire maker's passenger and light truck tires unit in Canada.
Also within Conti's truck tire group, James Matarelli has been appointed western regional manager for truck tires, replacing David Gibson, who has moved to Continental's north region. Both are based in Fort Mill.
Matt Livigni, previously north region manager, has moved into a new position, assuming responsibility for truck tires in the Canadian market. He is relocating to the company's Canada headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario.
