INDIANAPOLIS—Delta Rubber Co., a subsidiary of NN Inc., has joined the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers. The move was effective in the second half of 2013.
The firm, founded in 1957, is located in Danielson, Conn. It provides rubber molding compounding and bonding services to the automotive and heavy truck industries, specializing in difficult-to-manufacture components and subassemblies that operate in harsh environments.
Delta said the ARPM website was a key factor in its decision to join, specifically the publications and information library.
"All the detailed information available in one spot is important to us," said Kevin Violette, sales marketing and technical manager for Delta Rubber. "We obtained all the documents associated to our product lines. We're also reinventing ourselves a bit, and the information that we can gather helps guide us as we look at other rubber products."
The ARPM was established in 2010 and has more than 50 members.
