QUINCY, Ill.—Titan International Inc. has promoted CFO Paul Reitz to president, filling a position that has been open since 2005, when Titan Chairman and CEO Maurice Taylor Jr. vacated it.
Reitz joined Titan as CFO in July 2010, moving to the Quincy-based tire/wheel maker from Carmike Cinemas Inc. He brought more than 15 years of experience in finance/accounting to the job, according to Titan, including time with McLeod USA Publishing and Yellow Book USA Inc.
Titan also hired John Hrudicka to fill the chief financial officer post. Hrudicka moves to Titan from Elkay Manufacturing Co. in Oak Brook, Ill., where he was CFO. He brings 27 years of experience with various companies to his new job, Titan said, including international assignments in both Hong Kong and Beijing, China.
Taylor said these moves reflect Titan's drive to build a strong executive team that will support the company's "aggressive growth plan."
Reitz will focus on manufacturing and marketing, while Hrudicka will lead the finance department, Taylor said.
