HOUSTON—The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers Inc., in conjunction with the American Chemistry Council's Olefins Panel, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, will host an international symposium entitled, "Health Risks of Lower Olefins."
The day and a half event will be held June 25-26 in Austin, Texas, at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality offices.
According to James L. McGraw, IISRP managing director and CEO, this will mark the fifth time that the IISRP will coordinate the international symposium.
Five speaking sessions are planned, including a final day panel discussion. A poster session also is slated. McGraw expects 20 scientists to present their research on the butadiene, isoprene, chloroprene, ethylene and propylene.
