NOVI, Mich.—Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. has appointed Thomas Sidlik to the company's board of directors.
Sidlik retired from the DaimlerChrysler A.G. board of management in 2007 after a 34-year career in the automotive industry. He was previously chairman and CEO of Chrysler Financial Corp., chairman of the Michigan Minority Business Development Council and vice chairman of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Delphi Automotive L.L.C. He previously was on the board of regents of Eastern Michigan University, including a stint as chairman, and he was a member of the board of directors of the Detroit Institute of Arts.
