COLUMBUS, Ohio—Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. will increase prices for epoxy resins, bisphenol A and allylics in the Americas, effective Feb. 1.
A total of 10 products will increase 5-8 cents per pound according to the company.
The firm said the increase is driven by raw materials costs. All other terms and conditions of sale regarding the products remain unchanged.
Allyl chloride and epichlorohydrin will increase 5 cents per pound. EPON resin solutions and EPON brominated resin solutions will increase 6 cents per pound. Bisphenol A, EPON liquid epoxy resins, EPON solid epoxy resins, EPON specialty liquid epoxy resins, EPON resin blends and EPON high performance resins will increase 8 cents per pound, according to the firm.
