WAYNE, N.J.—Roofing manufacturer GAF Materials Corp. plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Parsippany, N.J., once renovations are completed to the building.
GAF has approximately 600 employees and contractors working at its headquarters in Wayne. All are expected to transfer to the new location.
GAF had been based at its 99-acre campus in Wayne for more than 30 years. The new location is less than 15 miles from the current facility.
President and CEO Bob Tafaro said the community of Wayne has been terrific to the company, but the building in Parsippany offers the company a modern office with improved work efficiencies to improve its services to its customers.
The company did not disclose terms related to the relocation.
GAF has spent 128 years in the roofing industry with products including steep-slope and commercial roofing systems. Both are supported by a national network of factory-certified contractors.
