ATLANTA—Jim McMaster, former executive vice president and chief operating officer of Yokohama Tire Corp., North America, has been named to the board of directors of rubber recycling company Lehigh Technologies Inc.
Adel Halasa, a former research and development fellow at Goodyear, has been appointed to Lehigh's advisory board.
Lehigh said it appointed McMaster and Halasa at an important time in its growth as a company. Currently Lehigh is expanding its business in micronized rubber powders into Asia and Europe, it said.
Using an energy-efficient cryogenic turbo mill technology, Lehigh manufactures highly engineered powders that are used in a wide range of consumer and industrial applications.
More than 200 million tires have been manufactured using Lehigh's rubber powders, the company said.
