BETHESDA, Md.—The U.S. Adhesive and Sealant Council has named its leaders for 2014.
The organization will be chaired by Rusty Thompson, president and CEO, Evans Adhesive Corp.; Andy Johnston, vice president, adhesives, Ashland Performance Materials Inc. will be treasurer; and Matt Croson will remain as president, said the ASC.
Christine Bryant, senior vice president, Bayer MaterialScience A.G., will join the executive committee. Those elected as board members for 2014 are: Christian MacIver, vice president, MWV Corp. and Matt Devine, president, DHM Adhesives Inc.; Mark Siebert, vice president, Kraton Inc.; Larry Owen, senior vice president, Franklin International; and Chris Urheim, director, Dow Chemical Co.
ASC officers serve a two-year term; this is the second year of the current officers' two-year terms. The executive committee supplier seat is a two-year term. All board positions are three-year terms.
Board members are voted into office by ASC members. The vote was held in August. Executive committee members and officers are voted into office by the board of directors. The election results were announced last week at the 2013 membership luncheon as part of the ASC Fall Convention and Expo, held in Minneapolis.
