RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Lakers for the fourth consecutive year.
The South Korea tire manufacturer, as the official tire of the Lakers, will have signs at he team's home games, including at the courtside scorer's table signage, the main scoreboard and LED ribbon signage around the upper fascia inside Staples Center. The company also will have increased visibility on what Kumho called the NBA's most visited team website, Lakers.com.
In conjunction with its sponsorship, Kumho said in the spring of 2014 a consumer meet-and-greet event will be held at a local tire dealership with a Lakers player and two Laker Girls cheerleaders.
