CLEVELAND—Alpha Technologies said a theft occurred at its booth at the International Elastomers Conference at the I-X Center in Cleveland. An individual stole the DisperGrader Alphaview along with the accompanying Dell computer tower and software accompanying the instrument.
A $3,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the capture and conviction of those involved with the crime. Anyone with information should contact Linda O'Shea at 330-848-7242 or by email at [email protected].
The company said it is working with the Cleveland Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, the Customs Authorities, the FBI and the Department of Justice International Task Force on Intellectual Property.
The I-X Center is reviewing surveillance to capture footage and the exact time of the theft. Fingerprints also have been taken by the Cleveland Police Department.
