COLGONE, Germany—Lanxess A.G. signed an agreement with distributor Mito Polimeri S.r.l. to distribute plastics product line Durethan PA 6 and PA 6.6 and Pocan in Italy.
The scope of the agreement includes the regions of Piemont, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta and Lombardy.
Frederique van Baarle, head of advanced materials EMEA, said the company is confident that the choice of Mito Polimeri will further boost its sales in a competitive and dynamic market.
Lanxess said it is targeting Italy for the automotive, electronic articles, household goods, sports and leisure products and consumer goods markets.
Mito Polimeri and Lanxess have been business partners for more than 30 years.
