TOKYO—Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. made several changes in responsibilities for its senior management team, effective Oct. 1.
The Tokyo-based company said the following directors' jobs have been adjusted:
Tooru Kobayashi will become director and executive vice president; head of the corporate planning division; president of multiple business; and president of Yokohama Business Association Corp. He is currently serving as director and executive vice president, in charge of the corporate planning department; secretariat, GD100 promotion department; global human resource department; regal department; president of multiple business; and president of Yokohama Business Association Corp.
Hideto Katsuragawa has been named director and corporate officer; head of the tire business planning division; head of the tire overseas sales and marketing division; and head of the tire logistics division. He also is currently serving as director and corporate officer; head of the tire business planning division; and head of the tire overseas sales and marketing division.
Two corporate officers have new responsibilities:
Koichi Tanaka becomes senior managing corporate officer; chairman of Yokohama Rubber (China) Co. Ltd.; and chairman of Yokohama Tire Sales (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Mr. Tanaka has been senior managing corporate officer, chairman and president of Yokohama Rubber (China) Co. Ltd. and chairman of Yokohama Tire Sales (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. In his current position, he is senior managing corporate officer; chairman and president of Yokohama Rubber (China) Co. Ltd.; and chairman of Yokohama Tire Sales (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
Shigetoshi Kondo becomes corporate officer, president of Yokohama Rubber (China) Co. Ltd.; and president of Yokohama Tire Sales (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. He has been corporate officer, head of the tire logistics division and head of the tire distribution control department.
