KOBE, Japan—Falken Tire Corp. has moved up the anticipated launch date for its Ziex ZE950 all-season high-performance tire to Jan. 1 from Feb. 1, now that parent Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. began production of the tire.
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based Falken Tire will debut the new tire during the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, company officials said. The tire marketer said the ZE950 will replace Falken's ZE912 model, and be available in 95 sizes.
