CHANGSHU, China—Daikin America Inc.—a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd.—opened a new production facility for the fluoroelastomer DAI-EL in Changshu.
The plant is located in the Changshu factory of Daikin Flurochemicals Co. Ltd. Production began in January.
This is the third fluoroelastomer facility in the company's network and will increase its total fluoroelastomer production by about 60 percent. Daikin also has plants in Yodogawa, Japan; and Pierre-Benite, France.
The DA-EL G300 series is available both as a base polymer copolymer and precompound. The series products have an excellent compression set and are used for compression molding and injection molding, according to the company.
