INDIANAPOLIS—The 2013 Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference, hosted by the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers, expects a record number of attendees.
Early registration for the conference, which will be held Oct. 17-18 at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis, ended Aug. 9.
This event is designed to provide profit-impacting information to senior executives in the plastics and rubber manufacturing industries.
"So far, we have hit our lofty goal of getting over half the registrations by the early bird deadline," said Jenny Taylor, ARPM's business manager. "We anticipate selling out early this year."
The ARPM office said there has been a significant increase in early registrations.
According to the association, the conference is developed by and for the manufacturing executive. This annual conference draws more than 400 executives in the industry and is anchored by presentations from 2013 North America Survey of the Plastics Industry. These presentations identify and correlate profitability to operational behaviors, market choices.
This year's conference will address leadership, operational best practices, the latest financial benchmarks, sales and marketing, and the impact of employees have on the bottom line. The schedule includes ways to improve best practices, leading edge benchmarks, presentations and networking.
