CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Getzner Werkestoffe GmbH, a firm that makes polyurethane vibration control components, has opened an office in Charlotte, the firm said.
The office will be headed by Andreas Denk, president of the newly formed Getzner USA Inc. Denk has worked for Getzner since 2002 and been responsible for the U.S. sales since 2009.
Getzner said it has been active in the U.S. market for 20 years and is budgeting $1.5 million from the new subsidiary with 50 percent yearly growth expected in the medium term. Production and development will remain at its headquarters in Buers, Austria, the firm added. The U.S. division will concentrate on project management and sales in the U.S. and Canada.
