COLOMBO, Sri Lanka—The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries has scheduled its 6th annual rubber conference in Colombo Oct. 8.
The Government of Sri Lanka is hosting the event, in association with the Sri Lanka Ministry of Plantation Industries, the ANRPC said.
"Sustainable NR Economy: Where Do We Stand?" is the theme of the conference. It will begin with a paper on the current status of natural rubber production in ANRPC member countries, by ANRPC Secretary General Kamarul Baharain bin Basir.
The conference will include presentations on trends in global NR demand, the outlook for physical rubber trading in China and the outlook for the NR futures market. Concluding the conference will be a panel discussion of the conference theme.
The number of participants is limited to 100, and the ANRPC is asking interested parties to register no later than Sept. 20. For more information, contact [email protected].
