LONDON—The Rubber in Engineering Group will hold an afternoon technical discussion meeting in London in September entitled "Extending the Life of Rubber Products."
The Sept. 13 meeting will explore what approaches are available in the rubber industry to improve the performance of engineered products and what approaches are used in practice to predict the lifetime performance of rubber components.
RIEG noted that engineering components made out of rubber materials often have stated customer requirements imposed regarding their anticipated in-service product life, and the specifications are continually becoming more demanding as space restrictions are imposed. The meeting aims to look at ways to overcome challenges posed to the rubber industry.
The event, which will be held at 1 Carlton House Terrace, London, is free, but participants must reserve their place by emailing Dave Boast at [email protected].
