KOMAKI, Japan—Tokai Rubber Industries has launched a human resources development program called the TRI management school, with the purpose of training its executives of the future.
The group is strengthening its employee training, in order to achieve its goal of becoming a "globally excellent manufacturing company" with consolidated net sales of $10 billion by the early 2020s, the company said in a statement.
The initiative will provide a variety of training, such as improving business skills and developing logical thinking skills of employees. The management school will be structured in two parts: a one-year program training course to acquire the basics of management, followed by practical "task-force training," which will last for about half a year.
