LONDON—The final deadline for paper submissions for the CASE Study 2013 conference has been extended to Sept. 13, according to Crain Communications Inc., the organizer of the event.
The conference, to be held Dec. 10-11 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the first-ever event focused on CASE (coating, adhesives, sealant and elastomer) developments in the polyurethanes sector. Commercial and technical specialists are expected to attend the conference.
"A wide range of interesting papers on the latest advances in coatings, adhesives and sealants has been offered already, with contributions coming from across the U.S. and Europe," said conference producer David Reed, adding that this includes an offer from one of India's elastomer makers, Jayant Elastomers Pty.
The offers so far include some developments in the coatings and adhesives segments. According to Reed, "Surprisingly few other papers have been offered on polyurethane-based elastomers," despite it being one of the key topics in the CASE sector. Reed said presentations on PU elastomers and TPUs are particularly welcome.
Companies with some recent developments to report in any of these sectors may send a 50-100-word summary of the topic to David Reed at: [email protected] by Sept. 13.
