HOUSTON, Texas—American Roller Co.'s Plasma Coatings division has named Bob McGinnis as vice president and general manager of the oil and gas group.
McGinnis will oversee the strategy, sales and operations activity for the group on a global basis. He will be a member of the executive leadership staff of American Roller and report to President Dan Cahalane. He previously worked for CM Acquisitions L.L.C. and A.T. Kearney Inc. in a number of different roles.
Cahalane said the growth of the Plasma Coatings division has exceeded initial expectations and that the company is looking to take the initial great results and expand rapidly, on a global level. In the last 12 months, the company opened a new facility in Houston, acquired a complementary business in oil and gas and experienced double-digit organic growth in the sector.
American Roller Company is an engineered solutions supplier of industrial rollers used in a variety of manufacturing processes. Plasma Coatings has manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and China. It specializes in corrosion wear and release coatings through metalizing, overlay and plasma spray techniques.
