LONDON —The deadline to submit a paper for the upcoming CASE Study conference has been extended to Aug. 30, according to conference organizer Crain Communications.
Several presentations already have been submitted from companies throughout Europe and in the U.S., but the two-day event still has time slots in all four segments of the conference: Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers, including TPUs and polyurea technologies.
The keynote presentation from Rob Outram, an associate director of IAL Consultants of London, will detail recent developments in all the CASE segments, as well as highlight future growth prospects in each segment.
Among topics being considered for the rest of the conference program are CO2-based polyols in high-performance coatings and adhesives; bio-polyols in cast elastomers; and rape-seed-oil-based polyols for 100 percent solids spray-applied PU coatings. More papers are requested on any of the latest developments in processing equipment and techniques; application and manufacturing processes; and raw materials and chemical systems, including performance-enhancing additives for use in polyurethane-based CASE applications.
The conference runs Dec. 10-11 in the Movenpick Hotel, Amsterdam. It is expected to attract more than 100 commercial and technical specialists. Those with an interesting topic to share with the European and North American specialists should send a 50-100-word summary of the proposed topic to [email protected]
