INDIANAPOLIS—Poly Seal Industries of Berkeley, Calif., has become a member of the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers.
Poly Seal, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2014, manufactures custom molded products. According to Dan Baker, president of Poly Seal Industries, the firm emphasizes health care products, personal health care, bioengineering and pharma applications.
Baker said his firm joined the organization to make new connections in the rubber industry in the East.
"We are kind of isolated (in California)," he said. "It will be good to get the perspective from those where rubber started."
ARPM, established in 2010 and managed by leaders in the rubbery industry, has more than 40 members.
