BETHESDA, Md.—The $42.5 billion global adhesive and sealant market is predicted to grow 3.2 percent annually over the next three years, according to a new market report by the Adhesive and Sealant Council.
ASC also said in its North American Market Report for Adhesive and Sealants that the North American market, worth $11.9 billion, is to grow by 2.3 percent over the next three years.
The report, which is published every three years, covers the 2012-15 time period, analyzing market size and scope for both adhesives and sealants, and including forecasting and trends analysis. ASC said this year's version includes a section devoted to the growth of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South America as a group, as well the electronics market segment.
"ASC's market report is a solid tool that can be leveraged by industry professionals to assess the North American Market and design marketing plans to focus their efforts internally," said Matthew Croson, president of ASC, in a recent news release.
The ASC North American Market Report is produced on behalf of ASC by DPNA International, a market analyst and research firm that is also an affiliate member of the council. Data within the report was collected using primary research and market reports from a variety of sources and in collaboration with several trade organizations, ASC said.
